Battle To Freedom
Sauver Farm, was made for rescue horses who needed a home to heal and deal with there problems without interference from other things. The founder of this " business " was Agrippine Gillete, a young women just in her thirties but there is a big story to this so lets start at the beginning so you understand the whole thing.
Agrippine was a young women who was widely known over the wold as " Cheval sauvage " French for " Wild Horse ". She was a well known riding, especially in Europe, were she had won many Dressage competitions and Barrel racing competitions but it wasn't just her. She has a special horse named, Gun Shy. Agrippine has a special bond with him that was just so amazing. Gunner, he was called, had a hard life as a young colt and was abused to the point no one could step within' ten feet of him or he would litterly attack you from fear that you would hurt him. Agrippine took Gunner on even though her boyfriend told her not to because the stallion was just to much but when Agrippine was the paint stallion she knew that was her horse.
Agrippine was about one month pregnant when she got Gunner and her boyfriend was so worried the big stallion would hurt her but to everyones surprise there was a bond slowly creating, a soft side to Gunner was showing. He still wouldn't let her touch him but slowly with long hours of work Agrippine achieved one thing no one could even do, get close and touch him and right then and there a forever bond was created.
Months passed and Agrippine got bigger in the belly well Gunner's progressed in training very quickly. The studly young fellow wouldn't leave Agrippine alone he followed her everywhere and for some reason he knew a new life was going to be brought into this world and he, he was going to have to be careful. Thats when Aimee was born and Agrippine's boyfriend became Mr. Gillete. When Aimee was brought him she was introduced to all the animals and all the horses seamed to love her no one horse dare hurt her, not even Gunner. Gunner seamed protective of her like she was one of his fillies apart of his little herd and as Aimee grew bigger the closer her and Gunner grew.
It had been three years after Aimee's birth and Agrippine was twenty-five years old and now a new horse was brought her way, Oppey. He was a large gray Andalusian who just couldn't be saddled or backed it bothered him so much and it wasn't because he wasn't sound. Oppey was mistreated by his real owner and a young lady who adored Oppey brought the gelding in hoping that maybe Agrippine could help her retrain him. Agrippine gladly accepted and when she started working with him she discovered many new issues. Oppey was afraid of loud noises, afraid of fast motions, head shy, afraid of any enclosed spaces(ie, stalls, paddocks, arenas), and had separation problems from horses.
She used what to her advantage and when she brought Oppey in she restarted his training but this time with a new idea in mind, natural horsemanship. She created what she called " multipliez le troupeau " Which was French for multiply herd a technique she used for horses who where very attached to other horses. Agrippine brought her lovely boy Gunner and his playmate Aimee with her and they started working on Oppey and thats where Agrippine noticed a huge change. Aimee loved to go and sit between the horses legs and hang from there legs and halters like she always did ti Gunner she soon started to do it with Oppey and Agrippine watched the great gray gelding just stand there and not dare move a muscle. Slowly Agrippine, Gunner, and Aimee worked together and soon Oppey was being lead around nicely, not afraid of anything, a gentle giant, and best of all he was being ridden and not just but Agrippine but also Aimee but just for fun.
Oppey was sent home with the women who had saved him from the hell he was suck in and right then and there Agrippine knew what she wanted to be, a horse whisperer. Agrippine soon started a mother daughter business with her horse Gunner who also helped because every horse that was brought to Agrippine started multipliez le troupeau and Agrippine also created a giant 25 acre pasture that all the horses where let into to social live make there own herd and friends and just be a herd animal. She saw in many farms horses where split apart fenced away from each other but horses liked company of others and yes some may not get along but that was natural the pasture was big enough they could separate if needed.
Agrippine soon got her first horse, Tulsa, a small chestnut mare who started getting an issue with water on her trail rides. Agrippine took the mare out on a trail ride through her water and the mare was fine which confused Agrippine so she went up to the man who owned Tulsa and started going through his property getting information on previous owners and found out a young girl around ten years old was leasing Tulsa and taking her on trail rides on her own. Agrippine took the mare out on the trails on Tulsa's own farm and saw all the issues she had up here. She was very stiff when she got near rivers and down hill she seamed to rush and bounce around with zero balance.
Next day Agrippine asked if the girl could take Tulsa on a trail ride because shes fixed, she lied. Agrippine knew that the girl wouldn't ride Tulsa the same was she rode her every time if she knew Agrippine was watching and then and there thats where Agrippine saw the problems unwind. The little girl galloped the mare down those steep hills, forced the mare to jump over logs, and the funny thing Agrippine didn't understand was why did the little girl leg yield the mare through the water on her bad side? She saw how Tulsa struggled in pain but now Agrippine knew what she needed to do and the first thing was to teach the little girl how to respect horses and after that Agrippine started with Tulsa taking baby steps with he water and going down hill. A little bit of water a a small hill and slowly they built up to much bigger things and Tulsa had calmed a great deal.
There where many horses after that like; Taffy, Patty-cake, Promise, Houdini, Happy Appy, John Cash, Zora, and many more. Agrippine worked so hard on the horses and as she worked she noticed that her daughter too had that special ability to make a bond with a horse, get them to trust you and relax and also be relaxed around them. There where a lot of great riders out there but some just where as comfortable around them as Aimee was, like just the smallest spook could unset the rider which upset the horse to and Aimee understood that completely. Thats why as Aimee grew bigger Agrippine got her to help out more and more with the horses and learning how to handle them, what techniques to use on which horses, and Aimee also got riding lessons on Gunner and another horse named Zephyr, a small black gelding who did Dressage.
At ten years of age though Aimee received her own horse, Queen. She was a two year old Friesian who absolutely adored Aimee and followed the girl around and was just a gentle giant so careful she just didn't want to hurt Aimee and you think it would be dumb to buy a horse untrained for someone so young but Agrippine saw something others didn't, a bond with trust in it. What even Aimee asked Queen did even if it was new and very scary the mare did it without an issue and when being trained to be ridden when she turned three years old Aimee and Queen flew right through it without troubles.
Aimee worked hard and when she was thirteen she made a best friend Samantha Marshal, she she rode with very often. Sauver Farm also made an enemy, Redwood Farm, since they competed a lot for business now that Sauver farm also gave out lessons with there lesson instructor, Mr. Bronz. Kelly Smith the owner of Redwood Farm didn't like Agrippine mostly because everyone liked how she worked with horses without using a harsh hand.
Well that was happening Aimee was getting ready for the annual 4 day race and her mother didn't even notice. The day of the race Agrippine never showed up to watch Aimee, only her father. Aimee and Gunner came in first and when Agrippine found out she wasn't happy at all and what was worse is that she didn't have time to be around Aimee because she was getting ready for a cross country show. At the cross country show Agrippine came in first and on the news she talked all about Sauver Farm and how both her, her daughter and her husband work with the horses.
Every year Aimee and Agrippine went there own ways when competitions came since Aimee loves western riding and Agrippine loved English riding but both loved horses. Aimee though was a lot better at working with the horses and as she grew older she started to work more and more with the horses and when she was 15 years old Aimee had more people coming to her then to her mother and things hit a hard bump in the road right there.
Aimee breed her mare Queen with a stallion named, Flaming Fires, her mother disapproved. Aimee payed for everything and she didn't see why, Queen was more of a " house pet " then a riding horse she was talented but talented as a trick horse and a lot more fun when they where just goofing off. Almost her sixteenth birthday a competition was coming up, 4 day annual race and to her surprise she would win three dogs and some money, 2000 dollars. The thing was Aimee's dad got her two other dogs.
A huge accident happened and that almost killed Aimee, her mother died in her cross country course. Aimee stopped going to school and closed everything down, Sauver was no more, she sulked for a whole year but now she is facing up to her life. Aimee re-opened Sauver Farm and started going back to school and how she is also riding Gunner and Queen and also training her new foal, Rain. Because she wasn't totally there for a year her five dogs turned to nine dogs. The only reason for re-opening though was because the govern was threatening to taken the farm from her and she didn't want too give it up. She couldn't give it up.
There's one more thing though and thats a group of guys who have been running around destroying everything in there path but one specially guy there falls in-love with Aimee but he wont tell, not even her. The same school with most of the same classes but what he is he knows Aimee wont like and thats why he knows they can never be.
Will Aimee pull through and bring up her fallen farm? Or will she fall flat on her face under the pressure of training her horses, going to shows, working with abused horses, playing with her secret crush and balancing school? Will people come and board at her farm again? Will the bad boys ever be caught?
